And Farewell to January

 And there goes January! We have had beautiful sunny days, a little snow, a no power day, and the new playground has opened up for us!

What have we been doing?

1. We have finished long division in math.

2.  We read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh, and completed a novel study.

3.  We researched and presented "Great Ideas that Changed the World" partner projects.

4.  We have finished filming our movie for the Winter Festival and just need to finish editing it yet.

5.  We have listened to podcasts that have been helping us to decipher real information from imposters.

6.  We have listened to 47 6 minute podcasts about a mysterious person named Holliday and her hovercraft named Hovey.

7.  We have been practising how to spell words with contractions, possessives, and endings.

8.  We had a dance class where we learned some pretty cool moves.

9.  Tomorrow we are participating in the Popsicle Challenge--stay tuned.
